Reishi is one of  Earth’s most auspicious and healing mushrooms, helping us to remember the truth of who we are and the true nature of our being.
Reishi, (akin to its fellow mushrooms Chaga, Coriolus, and Cordyceps)  has an exceptional array of therapeutic qualities. Its immunological essence ( wealth of polysaccharides and triterpenoid compounds )   reminds me of the Sanskrit mantra Aham Brahmasmi, meaning I am totality. It is so beautifully balanced, whole, and complete, encouraging us to find the same quality or frequency of being. Like Chaga, its immunological mechanism of action is also mitochondrial-mediated.
It may also help to support metabolic health, promoting healthy metabolism, and is considered to be particularly strengthening for our heart (emotions), in fact, our entire cardiovascular system, brain (being neuroprotective), lymphatics, liver, lungs, skin,  endocrine (reproductive), kidney / adrenal and digestive systems. It also has extraordinary geno-protective properties.
Whoever we are and wherever we are it is as if reishi can always assist us to continue to grow and enjoy our greatest potential. In Chinese Calligraphy  Reishi is depicted as 3 characters, a Shaman praying for rain.  A Rishi,  perhaps from where reishi’s name originated was a forest sage, a great yogi – a self realised being.  Reishi is a little like a Divine tuning fork, helping us to become more of a finely tuned Divine instrument.
Its frequencies, at any given time, encourage us to develop a  strong, stable, and always conscious connection between our  Earth and  Universe. This helps us to remain grounded as we reach for the stars and realise our multi-dimensional nature, and that we may indeed dream our lives into being.  Reishi continues to attune our instrument by encouraging us to courageously listen to and embody our heart, our most powerful healing, and energetic center.
Reishi helps us remember each of us is totality. That each one of us is the  Universe and that everything is created from the inside out. Perhaps what it does which I love the most it reminds us that as we remember the truth of who we really are infinite possibility always exists. The longer we are held within its intelligence the more we realise the truth of our creative power, and the more it feels safer to let go of our conditioned self  (limiting beliefs) and truly surrender both to the wisdom of our hearts, and our dreams to the Universe.
When I think of Reishi I think of journeying with  Ganesha,  Mahakali, and  Amitabha, and finding  Christ Consciousness- the truth of the awakened self when we dare to choose to embody love.
